Special guest: Andrew Higginson, Retired Chairman of Tesco Bank

Recently retired from the Tesco board, Andrew Higginson is one of the cabal of senior executives, along with former boss Sir Terry Leahy, credited with masterminding the group's rise to annual sales of £67.6bn. Higginson was group finance and strategy director for 11 years and following Tesco's purchase of RBS's 50% stake in Tesco Personal Finance for £950m in 2008, he moved to lead its retailing services division, which includes the Tesco Bank.

At Boardroom on the 15th May, Andrew will be sharing some insights from his career and revealing some of the retail and business strategies that led to Tesco to become the world's third-largest retailer.

Andrew will soon be taking up a new role with St James Developments who specialize in luxury bespoke design, construction & build of exquisite London homes for discerning individuals who demand properties to be designed and built to the highest specification. You'll hear more about this at Boardroom and how sophisticated investors can be involved in some of their projects.

Date: 15th May 2012, 6.30-8.30pm

Venue: The National Skills Academy, St Andrews Street, Norwich, NR2 4TP
